Charlie Puth and Sabrina Carpenter got fans talking this week, as Puth shared a clip that appears to be from an upcoming music video in which the pair can be seen kissing. Meanwhile, Carpenter is rumored to currently be dating Shawn Mendes.

On Wednesday, Puth shared a clip on his TikTok account showing him and Carpenter sitting in a candlelit room playing the board game Operation. As Carpenter removes the heart, Puth tells her, “I always knew you had a tiny, tiny heart.”
The clip ends with the pair locking lips for a brief moment before the video cuts. In the post’s caption, Puth teased that the full project is coming on March 31. He tagged Carpenter, as well as the music duo Dan + Shay.
The video got fans talking in the comments, with one person writing, “DID THEY JUST KISS???” Another fan simply wrote, “WHAT WHAT WHAT.” The clip even led to speculation that the pair might be dating.

Carpenter Is Rumored to Be Dating Shawn Mendes
Some fans were confused by the clip of Puth and Carpenter kissing, because Carpenter is rumored to be dating singer Shawn Mendes. Although the two haven’t confirmed anything, a source recently told Entertainment Tonight that they’re “seeing each other.”
Not only that, but Puth also has a girlfriend, Brooke Sansone. Puth went public with their relationship on Instagram in December, sharing photo booth photos with Sansone to celebrate his birthday.
However, the fact that Puth and Carpenter kissed for a music video isn’t proof that they’re dating in real life. Singers frequently star alongside fake love interests for their videos, and Carpenter is also an actress. It’s possible they’re just trying to get people interested in their new collaboration.
