Carrie Underwood Recieves Two Nominations at The Upcoming Ceremony
As if performing wasn’t enough, the country singer received two nominations. She is nominated for best country duo/group performance for her single “If I Didn’t Love You” featuring Jason Aldean and best roots gospel album for My Savior. Ahead of the ceremony, Underwood has already won seven Grammy Awards out of 16 nominations.
This country artist began 2022 as the year of success. Her single with Aldean has already brought home a American Country Music (ACM) award, as well as a iHeartRadio music award. It seems like it’s only a matter of time until Underwood and Aldean win a Grammy Award for their collaboration. At this time, Underwood’s album My Savior has received three total nominations, but no wins.
Since the beginning of her career gained recognition for her incredible voice. In turn, she has a slew of awards and honors. It’s no secret that Underwood has become one of the biggest names in country music following her American Idol win. This country singer has released eight studio albums since coming into the spotlight and has gained a dedicated fan base.
In 2022, Underwood is planning her next power move amid performing in Las Vegas. She recently dropped her highly anticipated single “Ghost Story” after hinting at new music and a tour. I can’t wait to see Underwood on stage once again at the Grammy Awards. Underwood’s music has always been great, so I’m sure these nominations will not be her last.
Tune into The 64th Annual Grammy Award Ceremony on Sunday, April 3 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS to see Underwood’s performance. The ceremony will also be available for stream and on demand on Paramount Plus.
