During the band’s concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Friday, frontman Axl Rose introduced Underwood to the crowd. She joined them to perform both “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “Paradise City.” Underwood also appeared during Saturday’s show.
Underwood took to Instagram to thank Guns N’ Roses “for welcoming me into your world like family.” She added, “I am but a fan who somehow managed to find her way on stage to have a moment of magic with her heroes! How did I get so lucky?”
After the second show, Underwood posted again, this time writing, “Never in a million years did I think I would get to spend not one but TWO nights of my life on stage with @gunsnroses!”
Underwood dressed the part for both performances, going for a wavy, voluminous hairstyle on the second night. She joked on Instagram, “1988 called and it wants its hair back. I said no.”

People points out that this isn’t Underwood’s first time performing with Axl Rose. Earlier this year, she brought him out to perform the same two songs at the Stagecoach Festival in California. When introducing Rose, she called it “the greatest night of my life.”
Later, Underwood reacted to the moment on Instagram, writing, “Thank you, Axl, for making this lifelong dream come true!!!”
The singer, who recently finished up her Las Vegas residency, is setting out on her Denim & Rhinestones Tour this October. She released a new album by the same title in June. Meanwhile, Guns N’ Roses will finish their European tour on July 15 before moving on to South America in September.
