Camila Cabello Says Blake Shelton Never Hinted He Was Leaving ‘The Voice’

Camila Cabello stopped by The Tonight Show this week to chat with host Jimmy Fallon about The Voice. She talked about how funny fellow coach Blake Shelton is, and shared that he never hinted he would be leaving the show next year.
The Voice Star Camila Cabello Talks About Blake Shelton
“Blake is so funny,” Cabello told Fallon. “He’s so funny, he’s so fast. I’m like, ‘You should just try out, I don’t know, like a stand-up comedy set.’ He’s so funny. Not that that’s not, like, a really hard thing, but I’m just saying, he’s that funny. He makes me pee my pants of laughter on the show.”
Fallon brought up that Shelton recently announced Season 23 as his last season on the show. He’s been a coach since the very first season, winning eight times. Cabello said Shelton never hinted during their season together that he would be leaving soon.
“I definitely made fun of him a lot … ’cause he’s always like, ‘I’ve won the show how many times and you’ve won it no times,'” Cabello said. “And I was like, ‘Well, it’s like a game of probability if you’re on the show 23 seasons, you’re gonna win a third.'”

Cabello Flirts with a Contestant in Preview
The Tonight Show shared a preview from next week’s new episode of The Voice in which Cabello reacts to a Battle between Team Blake artists Bodie and Jaeden Luke. In Jaeden’s Blind Audition, he told Cabello he was singing the song for her.
In the new clip, Cabello flirts with Jaeden after saying the duo’s Battle made her “hot and flustered.” She calls it a “really sexy arrangement of the song.” When Jaeden tells Cabello that he missed her, she flirtatiously answers, “I missed you, too.”
“Jaeden, your tone is so beautiful. I wanna hear it in my ear… I’m just kidding,” she jokes. “I wanna hear it on a record. I think you as an artist, as the whole package, is special. You’re my boyfriend.”
We’ll get to see the Battle and find out which artist stayed on Shelton’s team next Monday night at 8/7c. If Jaeden doesn’t make it through, will Cabello steal him?
