Britney Spears Reveals Justin Timberlake Got Her Pregnant, She Had Abortion

In her upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, Britney Spears reveals that her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake got her pregnant, and she had an abortion. Sources told TMZ that Spears opens up about the experience in the new book.
Britney Spears Opens Up About Abortion in Memoir
Sources with knowledge of Spears’ memoir told TMZ that the pop star learned she was pregnant in late 2000, when she was around 19 years old. She apparently writes in the book that she was “conflicted,” having been raised against abortion.
“It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” Spears writes in the book, according to People. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
She and Timberlake dated between 1999 and 2002. Spears ended up having two children (sons Sean Preston and Jayden James) with her ex-husband Kevin Federline in 2005 and 2006.
“I don’t know if that was the right decision,” Spears writes of her abortion. “If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”

Spears Says She’s ‘Finally Free to Tell My Story’
“Over the past 15 years or even at the start of my career, I sat back while people spoke about me and told my story for me,” Spears told People. “After getting out of my conservatorship, I was finally free to tell my story without consequences from the people in charge of my life.”
The star shared that some moments in her life were “hard to speak about” in the book but added that it’s “finally time for me to raise my voice and speak out.” People published an excerpt from the memoir, out October 24.
In the excerpt, Spears recalls her time on The Mickey Mouse Club, including a game of Truth or Dare when someone dared Timberlake to kiss her. She remembers that a Janet Jackson song was playing in the background.
She also writes about the experience of dancing with a snake for her iconic performance of “I’m a Slave 4 U” at the VMAs, writing, “All I knew was to look down, because I felt if I looked up and caught its eye, it would kill me.”
