Blake Shelton decided to tease fans today with an ambiguous tweet. He hinted that something big is happening tomorrow. Fans are buzzing at the thought that he and Gwen Stefani could possibly be getting married already. However, other clues point to another reason for the mysterious tweet.
Fans Think Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani are Getting Married Tomorrow
Shelton tweeted a video, which he also posted on Instagram, flipping through the pages of the Bible. A calming tune plays in the background. The word “Friday” is written across the screen.
Shelton and Stefani’s fans flew to the comments to speculate about their upcoming wedding. Though no official wedding date has been announced, their wedding plans have been the talk of Hollywood. The duo got engaged in October after they began dating in 2015. They coached several seasons side by side on The Voice and have had two hit duets together.

Stefani did say that the one thing she absolutely has to have at their wedding is God. Could the Bible be a hint of the religious aspects of the wedding?
“I have to have God show up to it,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada. “I definitely want it to be a spiritual experience that is filled with love and truth, I want it to be real and pure.”
She also said that she has a prayer that she says every day that she would like to incorporate into the wedding. Religion is very important to Stefani as she gets ready to walk down the aisle.
“I’m afraid if she and I wait until next November, then I’m right back into The Voice cycle again,” he said. “And I really want to be able to have plenty of time before and after.”
“So hopefully this summer now,” he continued. “I think we’re right here at the point with COVID, it looks like it may be OK, but I don’t know.”
What is the Real Reason Behind the Mysterious Social Media Post?
Sorry Shefani fans, we might just have to wait a little while longer to see our favorite couple get married. It looks like the video is actually a teaser for Shelton’s upcoming single “Bible Verses.”
“Is this for your new single ‘Bible Verses’?” one fan asked Shelton on Twitter.
Others agreed that the video alludes to the release of this single on Friday. One fan pointed out that the song is already out in New Zealand.

Shelton announced that his upcoming album Body Language will be released on May 21st. This marks his first full-length album in four years. His hit song “Minimum Wage” and the duet “Happy Anywhere” with Stefani will also appear on the album.
The 44-year-old hitmaker will also be teaming up for a song with The Swon Brothers who rose to fame when they competed on The Voice in 2013. The last track on the album is “Bible Verses.”
“We’ve been working on this album on and off for two years now, and I’m very proud of what we have put together. We certainly had some unique challenges with the pandemic, but we also had a lot of fun,” Shelton said in a press release. “We explored new sounds while making sure to get in some classic country.”
