Blake Shelton Leaves Longtime Record Label
According to Taste of Country, Shelton shared the news on Tuesday that he’s leaving Warner Music Nashville. He released a statement sharing his gratitude to the label, which he joined in 2001 when his original label (Giant Records) closed shortly after he released his debut single “Austin.”
“I moved to Nashville when I was 17 to sing country music and get a record deal,” Shelton said. “Along with the support from Warner, my dreams came true, and then some. It’s impossible to name everyone who has had a hand in all the success we enjoyed, but a huge and heartfelt thank you to the Giant Records, Warner Bros. Records and Warner Music Nashville staff and family.”
Shelton renewed his partnership with Warner in 2017. Over his career in country music, the singer has released 12 studio albums. His most recent project, Body Language, came out in 2021. Shelton reportedly has not shared whether he intends to sign with another label.

The Singer Just Announced New Tour Dates
On Thursday, Shelton took to social media to share that he’s bringing back his Friends & Heroes Tour in 2025. The tour will feature special appearances from fellow country stars Craig Morgan, Deana Carter, and Trace Adkins. Emily Ann Roberts will open the shows.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday, September 13, at 10 a.m. However, fans can sign up for pre-sale access on Shelton’s website, which also features a list of tour dates. The first show will be February 27 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Shelton also recently announced a Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The singer is scheduled to perform on February 5, 7, 8, 12, 14, and 15 — just before he heads out on his newly announced tour.
