Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Rumored to Be ‘Drifting Apart’

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are the latest celebrity couple rumored to be headed for divorce. The pair, who tied the knot in 2021, is the subject of a new report claiming that they’ve been “spending a lot of time apart.”

“Times are tough for Gwen and Blake,” a source told OK! magazine. “They’re spending a lot of time apart and the relationship is suffering. Friends are worried that if they don’t address their problems before they spiral out of control, divorce might be in the cards for them.”
The source went on to say that both Shelton and Stefani have been “distracted by their work” and “having issues.” They also claimed that the couple’s different backgrounds have caused tension, as Stefani “doesn’t really fit in that whole country lifestyle.”
“When she’s in Oklahoma, she misses L.A. and all its conveniences. Blake’s not really comfortable living in the big city with all the traffic, noise and crowds,” the source said, adding that Stefani “feels the change in the relationship more than Blake does,” and that “it’s killing her to see them drifting apart like this.”
Since Shelton has left his coaching gig on The Voice, the source says “there isn’t much for them to talk about.” Stefani is also apparently annoyed by Shelton’s bad habits and is “always on his case about dieting.”

The Couple Just Celebrated Their Anniversary
This certainly isn’t the first time Stefani and Shelton have been the subject of breakup rumors, so fans should take the new report with a grain of salt. The couple’s recent Instagram posts definitely don’t seem to hint at any problems.
On July 3, the pair celebrated their second wedding anniversary. To mark the occasion, Stefani shared a montage showing sweet moments between her and Shelton over the years. The video was set to her new single “True Babe.”
Shelton also shared a post celebrating the anniversary, writing to Stefani, “Every day has been the best day since I met you.” The couple also had some fun together over July 4th weekend, as Stefani shared a video of them hanging out in the pool and tasting beers.
