Billy Ray Cyrus Marries Australian Singer Firerose: “Long Live Love”

Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and Australian musician Firerose are now officially husband and wife. After a year-long engagement, the couple tied the knot on Tuesday, October 10.
Billy Ray Cyrus, Firerose Tie The Knot
In a joint post on Instagram, the newlyweds shared a series of photos from the special occasion. The two can be seen posing among the scenic landscape while wearing their glamorous outfits for the wedding.
“10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony. It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined,” they wrote. “For both of us to hear the preacher say, ‘Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus… I now pronounce you husband and wife’ that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long Live Love!”
For their special day, Cyrus was wearing a Versace tuxedo, with his long hair loosely braided. Meanwhile, Firerose was donning a white Laura Rudovic wedding gown with lace detailing.
In the first snap, Cyrus can be seen planting a kiss to the side of his bride’s forehead as she faced the camera. In addition, Firerose held a bouquet of autumnal orange flowers.
One photo showed the couple sitting on the ground while they were surrounded by nature. Meanwhile, another photo showed them standing close together with their wedding rings on display.
Firerose and Billy Ray first met 12 years ago, when he was on the set of the Hannah Montana in Los Angeles. Over the years, they’ve kept in touch and even collaborated to create music together. Then, they sparked engagement rumors when she posted a photo wearing a diamond on her ring finger in September 2022.
His Wedding Proposal Was Not Conventional
After confirming their engagement last fall, Firerose detailed how the singer proposed to her. According to the songstress, Cyrus didn’t opt for the traditional way of popping the question.
“It was really just this moment where Billy looked at me and said ‘Do you wanna marry me?’ He didn’t get down on one knee or anything,” Firerose revealed of the country singer’s proposal. “He said, ‘I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.'”
As for their engagement ring, Firerose herself picked out a diamond of her liking and designed her own ring. an 18k white gold engagement ring, featuring a round brilliant cut diamond with a center stone. Additionally, held by a 4-prong V Head Center diamond accented with additional round diamonds.
After revealing their romantic relationship in public, Cyrus was accused of grooming the Australia native. Apparently, Firerose is at least a year younger than his daughter, Miley, 29. The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer is now 62 years old. In August of last year, Firerose greeted the country crooner a happy birthday.
“The world is a better place with you in it. Happy Birthday Billy,” she wrote.
