‘BGT’ Semifinals: Terrifying Dance Group Has The Judges SCREAMING
Reading Time: 4 minutes
BGT returned on Saturday night with the second episode of the semifinals, as eight acts performed for the chance to make it to the Season 14 finals. Out of those acts, the judges chose one act from the night to go to the finals, while the audience would vote for the second act to move on.
Since Simon is still recovering from back surgery, former Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashley Banjo once again filled in as a guest judge. The audience, meanwhile, was made up of people watching virtually from their homes.

Souparnika Nair
This 10-year-old singer wowed the judges with a cover of “Never Enough” in the auditions. For the semifinals, she sang “Neverland” by Zendaya. She earned a standing ovation from the judges. Amanda Holden called her “composed” and “confident.” Ashley Banjo said her vocal performance was “pitch perfect.”
Damien O’Brien
This magician asked the judges to think of important moments in their lives. He then showed them those details on the cell phone he was holding. He also took them out of a box that was hanging on the stage. “That’s genuinely freaking me out,” Alesha Dixon said afterward.
Class Dynamix
These kids auditioned for the show with an anti-bullying song. This week, they performed a pre-recorded song about believing in yourself. Amanda called it an “important message.” Ashley said they’re the kind of group he would want his kids to be a part of.
Allan Finnegan
This church minister delivered a funny stand-up comedy routine in which he joked about life during lockdown and his experience with funerals. Ashley said he had some good moments, but he lost him halfway through. David Walliams thought it was “very funny” and “memorable.”
Amanda & Miracle
This trainer and her rescue dog Miracle recreated their first meeting with the help of a puppet and some magic tricks. Alesha said it was “really emotional,” and something they’ve never seen before on the show. Ashley said he was “captivated” by the performance.

Aaron & Jasmine
These dancers delivered a sexy semifinals routine while surrounded by fire. “That was hot!” Alesha declared afterward, calling their technique “fantastic.” Ashley said he liked how they used the whole stage and connected with the judges. David Walliams said he needed to have “a lie down” or “a cold shower.”
Honey & Sammy
This mother and daughter earned the Golden Buzzer from Amanda during the auditions. This week, they performed “You Are the Reason” by Calum Scott. Amanda said she “couldn’t be prouder” of them. Ashley said he liked how they supported each other through the song.
The Coven
This spooky dance group sneaked up behind the judges and made them scream at the start of their performance. They earned a standing ovation for the act. Ashley said they might be his favorite of the night. Alesha agreed that it was the “best performance of the night.” Amanda called it “terrifying.”
‘BGT’ Results: Who’s Going To The Finals?
The judges were tasked with choosing their top three performances of the night, and then voted on which act should move on to the finals. The top three were Souparnika Nair, Aaron & Jasmine, and The Coven. Two judges voted for Aaron & Jasmine, and two voted for The Coven. Head judge Amanda Holden chose Aaron & Jasmine, so they’re going through to the finals.
The remaining seven acts are up for public vote until Monday, and we’ll find out who went through at the BGT final in October. Let us know in the comments which act was your favorite!
