Britain’s Got Talent Series 19 returned on Saturday night for another episode of the Semifinals, as two acts moved on in the competition. One act earned a Golden Buzzer from judge Alesha Dixon, while another received the most votes from viewers.
BGT Dance Group Earns Alesha Dixon’s Golden Buzzer
During Saturday’s Semifinals episode of BGT, dance group Sadeck Berrabah & LMA returned to the stage to perform a beautifully synchronized routine that stunned the judges. The panel gave the group’s performance a standing ovation.
The crowd went wild for the performance, chanting for the Golden Buzzer. It was Alesha Dixon’s turn to do the honors, and she heeded the call. Dixon called them “a breath of fresh air,” praising their choice to add props to the performance.
She pressed the Golden Buzzer after fellow judge Simon Cowell called the group’s performance “gobsmackingly beautiful.” He added that it was “the best act we may have seen on the live shows so far this series.”
Dixon recalled that in the auditions, she said she would have given the group a Golden Buzzer if she could. So she remained true to her word and did the honors for them in the Semifinals, sending them straight into the Series 19 finale.
At the end of the second Semifinals episode, three acts were announced as having received the most votes from the public for their performances: knife-throwing duo Alfredo & Coral, freestyle rappers Macshane & Delby, and magician Fabian Fox.
Ultimately, Fabian Fox was announced as having received the most votes out of those three acts, meaning he moved on to the finale while the other two acts were unfortunately eliminated from the competition.
During the show, Fabian performed a mind-bending routine in which he appeared to teleport from the stage to the audience before surprising judge KSI with a video clip of his former primary school. He revealed that a series of random letters and numbers chosen by the judges was actually the school’s postcode.
