BGT Guest Judge Stacey Solomon Hits Golden Buzzer
During Saturday’s new episode of BGT Series 19, a group of kids from Braunstone Community Primary School took the stage and said they were going to sing “All Things Bright and Beautiful.” The performance took an unexpected turn, however, when it turned into a colorful rave.
The group had the judges dancing along, and the panel was on their feet by the end of the audition. Their headteacher shared that they do this every Friday to celebrate the end of the school week. Alesha Dixon suggested that it’s something all schools should do.
Guest judge Stacey Solomon got emotional over the group’s performance. She loved it so much, she decided to stand up and press the Golden Buzzer to send Braunstone Community Primary School straight to the live shows.
“You are what life is all about. You are the future,” Solomon said after the group celebrated. “I mean, selfishly, I enjoyed that just as much as you did. That is the best feeling in the world, to see all of you go to the Semifinals and get to spread joy to millions and millions of people.”
Saturday’s new episode of BGT also featured performances from two incredible singers who wowed the judges with their voices. Kristel Herrera took the stage to sing “Run to You” by Whitney Houston, saying it’s her dream to perform for King Charles.
Kristel showed off an amazing voice, and the judges couldn’t help but give her a standing ovation. KSI told her, “I want to see more.” Alesha Dixon called it “absolutely outstanding,” while Amanda Holden said she “turned into a complete diva.” The panel voted “yes” to sending Kristel through.
Another impressive singer from this week’s show was Nic Vani, who performed “The Circle of Life” from The Lion King. The crowd went wild for his performance, and the panel was on their feet by the end of the song, with KSI saying he “owned it.” Holden complimented the tone of his voice, saying, “It felt like I was hearing it for the first time.”
Stacey Solomon said that Nic has “such a powerful voice.” All four judges voted “yes” to sending Nic through. What did you think of this week’s auditions on BGT Series 19? Let us know in the comments below.
