‘BGT’ Early Release: Frontline Singers Share a Moving Original Song, Will They Get a Golden Buzzer?
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Britain’s Got Talent returns to iTV on Saturday for another round of auditions. The Frontline Singers’s moving original song audition premiered ahead of the show. Fans predict that they will receive a Golden Buzzer in the episode.
The video begins with the music group stood on stage. The group is called Frontline Singers. This group is filled with frontline workers of all kinds, doctors/nurses, police officers, teachers, and more. They brought an original song to stage about their experiences with the pandemic.
This choir used a tactic not typically seen on the BGT stage. When starting their song, individual voices began each line. They didn’t come together as one connected voice until the song was about a fourth of the way in. To make this tune more unique, mid song a participant broke out in a rap.
This sneak peek left us practically begging for more from this group. Since their preview began at the start of their song, we want to know all the details behind their group origin!
Will The Frontline Singers Follow in The Steps of AGT‘s Northwell Health Nurse Choir?
There have been some mixed opinions on this group in the YouTube comment section. Some BGT fans loved every second of the preview, while others are hoping to see them not get through.
“Well this was kind of awkward…All those nasal sounding voices, with some flat singing, and off-pitch moments show that these people are really not singers,” the fan commented. “It was a bit better when they sang together (like a camouflage for the untrained voices). I did enjoy the little rap portion though.”
This group clearly wasn’t the best that ever taken the stage, but it’s worth noting that they’re not the first of their kind. If they are similar to AGT‘s Northwell Health Nurse Choir in being a group that chooses to sing together on top of loving their career.
Since there was disappointment surrounding last week’s lack of Golden Buzzer, many are predicting that this group will earn it. Not only did they bring an original song to the stage, they most likely brought their story of working on the front line during the pandemic. It’s not surprise to see this narrative on BGT since their show took a break in 2022.
Alesha Dixon and Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzers remain unused at this point in the Britain’s Got Talent competition. Many BGT fans expect Ant and Dec to hit their Golden Buzzer for The Frontline Singers. Only time will tell if they truly follow in the footsteps of Northwell Nurse Choir, or not.
