Beauty Mogul Huda Kattan OUTRAGES Fans For Posting Coronavirus Parody

Reading Time: 3 minutes
She may be sitting on a multi-million dollar makeup empire but Huda Kattan may have just lost a few fans. She recently posted a video with her husband Christopher Goncalo parodying what it is like to date during the coronavirus pandemic. While it has gained over 3.3 million views, some of the comments from fans felt that she was being insensitive during this difficult time.
In the video, Kattan and Goncalo are seen with a giant container of hand sanitizer. They jokingly flirt using the hand sanitizer and are tossing it around. Many people in the comments feel like since hand sanitizer is so difficult to find on the shelves during this epidemic, she shouldn’t flaunt the fact that she hoarded hand sanitizer.
Huda Kattan Responds Back To The Coronavirus Critics
One comment on the post read ” And this is why all pharmacies and markets are out of hand sanitizers. So some insta chick can make a “funny” video.” Kattan was quick to respond back and said “I actually had these bc I gave one to each of my 140 employees. She founded her cosmetic line Huda Beauty in 2013 and has achieved a multitude of success.

Another comment read “I think this isn’t funny wow I’m really shocked and I can’t believe that you did that. People can die and you make fun of something like this.” She responded back saying that she is not making fun of anyone. She also mentions that part of her team is being quarantined for one month to prevent any risks. She explained that she just wanted to make life for the people sitting at home a little less boring.
Some Of Her Fans Found The Video To Be Funny
While there were a ton of harsh comments on her video, there was also a lot of love. The amount of heart emojis she received on the video was astronomical. Others said it made them laugh while they were sitting at home with nothing to do as much of the world is either on lockdown or facing self-quarantines. One comment read “thank you so much for bringing smiles to our faces during this difficult time.” The video was also posted on Tik Tok and has over 93,000 views.
