Madix explains that sky-high Los Angeles rents made relocating quickly impossible on their budgets. Separate wings of the house allowed distance, but living together understandably prolonged her healing process.
According to Madix, Sandoval also lacked the means to purchase her share of the property. With expensive mortgage and rent payments, their situation remained in flux until Madix recently filed suit to force a sale.
While finances prevented an immediate fresh start, Madix emphasizes she mentally moved on long before circumstances allowed her physical separation from Sandoval. Under the constraints, she responsibly waited until ready before embracing new love.
