Shin Lim Returns On America’s Got Talent: The Champions Night Five

We’re back with another episode of AGT: The Champions and we’re about to reach the finish line. Tonight, we watched the final ten acts of the Champions top 50 and they did not disappoint. The line up was full of past Got Talent winners from across the world who’ve come back to defend their winning titles. The two chosen tonight will advance to next week’s finale where we will find out who will be the ultimate champion. Let’s get into tonight’s performances!
Attraction
Starting off the show with a strong start, we have the winner of Britains Got Talent Season 7. Attraction’s breathtaking performance wowed the judges and earned them a standing ovation. Howie says that he’s never seen a shadow dance more emotional that their performance tonight.
Jackie Evancho
Jackie’s last memory on the America’s Got Talent stage was eight years ago when she was 10. Now at 18 years old, she’s back to win the champion title. Following her appearance on America’s Got Talent, she appeared on countless talk shows and recorded several albums that went platinum and gold. The judges were amazed by her ability to have strengthened her already amazing talent over the years as Simon tells her that she’s only gotten better.
Colin Cloud
A performance that left everyone speechless! Viewers were left dumbfounded as Colin Cloud performed one of the most mind-blowing magic tricks. How tells him that he has truly stepped up his game in every way.
Lee/ Lost Voice Guy
Known as the Lost Voice Guy, Lee won Britains Got Talent in Season 12. He says that winning the show changed his life for the better and gave him a lot more confidence. The audience and judges loved his performance as they called him inspiring and a true champion. Lee received a standing ovation.
Sal Valentinetti
Sal has both the voice and the personality. Howie says that he not only is trying to do Frank Sinatra renditions but that he is successfully doing it. Simon even goes so far to tell him that he is star struck by Sal. What a compliment!
Tokio Myers
After winning Britains Got Talent, Tokio’s window of opportunity was endless. Howie calls him a world-class musician and says that he deserves to go through to the finals.
Kseniya Simonova
Representing Ukraine tonight is Ukraine’s Got Talent Winner, Kseniya. After her husband signed her up for the show, she won and had her sand art videos going viral. The viewers and judges were so in awe of her talent that Terry gave her the golden buzzer. Simon even goes as far to tell her that she is one of the best contestants around the world on this type of show. She is off to the finals!
Cosentino
After being a runner up on Australia’s Got Talent, Coswell has come to the AGT stage to claim his champion title and it shows. His escape artist routine is thrilling and terrifying at the same time. Luckily, he came out alive by seconds and the entire audience was able to breathe again. Simon tells him he is one of the best danger acts he has ever seen.
Sons of Serendip
This group made their presence known on the champions stage. After being a runner up in season five, they were ready to make a comeback. Simon complimented them on their emotional deliverence and said that this act truly got him.
Shin Lim
Last but definitely not least was 2018’s winner Shin Lim. His magic trick was jaw-dropping and incredible to watch. Heidi calls his act mind-blowing and Simon tells him he has the most respect for him to have the courage to come back and compete with other winners.
At the end of the night, Terry announces the top three acts of the night that would potentially be heading to the finals. First, he names Attraction, then Shin Lim and Sons of Serendip. Ultimately, Shin Lim earns the highest votes from America and joins Kseniya in the finals!
