On ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’ Episode 4 The Singers Come Out Ahead

Reading Time: 4 minutes

It’s night four of America’s Got Talent: The Champions and we’ve almost reached the end of the top 50 acts that will be performing this season. Tonight’s talent was off the charts with comedians, magicians, a ventriloquist, and last but not least a regurgitator- quite the lineup! Tonight the golden buzzer was in none other than Simon’s hands. Who did he give it to? Let’s find out!

Issy Simpson

Starting the night off strong is Issy Simpson. She was the runner up in 2017 at Britains Got Talent at only 8 years old. Now, at 10, she is back for the chance of winning the title of AGT The Champions. Simon says that he feels the 50 states will put her through to the finals, as her performance was magical.

The Texas Tenors

After finishing 4th place on their season, The Texas Tenors are back and stronger than ever. Performing to the song Unchained Melody, Simon says that he feels they have gotten better with age. They have been touring for 10 years and were at the top of their game!

Drew Lynch

If there’s one legacy Drew has left behind on the AGT stage, it’s overcoming adversity. Not to mention, he’s very funny. He developed a speech impediment after a softball injury and soon after started his comedy career. He says, “you can only hang your head for so long before you have to pull yourself back up” and that’s exactly what he’s done with his career. His act was so entertaining that Mel B did not what it to end. The judges all agreed that he deserved to be in the finals.

Paul Zerdin

After winning season 10, Paul received his own headline show in Las Vegas. His original and unique ventriloquist performance earned him a standing ovation, however, Simon didn’t think it was a progression from what he did on the show to win the title.

Moonlight Brothers

This dance brother duo just won the title of Denmark’s Got Talent. Their performance was energy driven, however, most of the judges didn’t think it was up to par with the other acts of the night. Simon even says that he is talking to a previous winner that he doesn’t think will win tonight. Nonetheless, they seem proud of their performance and thrilled to have been on the America’s Got Talent stage.

Tape Face

He’s back and everyone is thrilled about it! This was by far one of the most original performances we’ve seen on the show, as Tape Face invites Terry Cruz onto the stage to dance and strip. To top it all off, he gives him the golden buzzer! The judges talk about his gained success over the years, highlighting his Vegas show and he leaves having a great chance of gaining America’s vote to the finals.

Kechi Okwuchi

With one of the most touching stories in AGT history, Kechi has inspired thousands of people across the world with her ability to overcome obstacles. When she was 16, she was in a plane crash and was the only child to survive. After suffering from intense burning, she allowed music to heal her. She received a standing ovation the moment she took the champions stage and performed to the song You Are the Reason. She did such a beautiful job that Simon gave her his golden buzzer. Onto the finals for Kechi!

Stevie Starr

There have been many different acts on the show but Stevie Starr is one of a kind. He’s a Professional Regurgitator and happens to be Heidi Klum’s favorite contestant to have ever been on the show. However, during her performance, Simon gave him the second X of the season because he couldn’t stand to look at it anymore. Howie compliments him on his unique talent and says he’s polarizing because people either love or can’t watch the performance.

Brian Justin Crum

After placing 4th on Season 11 of AGT, Brian has come back full force for the opportunity to win the champions title. After his incredible performance of Your Song, he received a full-blown standing ovation with Howie telling him that he believes Brian just locked in America’s vote.

Kenichi Eniba

After winning season 8 of AGT, Kenichi is back! His unique and almost unbelievable dance tricks had America’s eyes glued to his entire performance. Simon says he was absolutely fantastic tonight and they hope to see him in the finals.

It’s time to find out who our top 3 votes were, but this week we’re adding another because there was a tie. Bryan Justin Crum was called out first followed by Paul Zerdin and a tie between Tape Face and Drew Lynch. Ultimately, Bryan led with the most votes and is onto the finals with Kechi!
