This is it! Tonight is the final episode of America’s Got Talent Season 13, which means not only are we going to find out which contestants made the top five and who the million-dollar winner is, we’ll also get to see some fantastic performances featuring an eclectic lineup of celebrity guests!

Each season, AGT has a bunch of special guest stars perform in the season finale. This year’s lineup will consist of:

  • rock band KISS
  • opera singer Placido Domingo
  • rock band The Struts
  • electric violinist (and former AGT contestant) Lindsey Stirling
  • singer Bebe Rexha
  • comedian David Spade
  • comedian Matt Iseman
  • football player Akbar Gbajbiamila
  • singer Garth Brooks (song contribution only)

These performers are often paired up with one or two of the finalists for a collaboration act, so they are usually chosen based on who the contestants in the finale are. KISS has already been confirmed to open the show, but I’d imagine Placido Domingo is set to perform with Daniel Emmet, The Struts with Courtney Hadwin, the comedians with Vicki Barbolak and Samuel J. Comroe, and Lindsey Stirling (who I’m somewhat surprised agreed to perform on the show after being trashed by the judges on her season, though that was mainly Piers Morgan who is long gone from the program) is set to perform a duet with Brian King Joseph.

Bebe Rexha could be involved with a number of acts. The most likely spot for her would seem to be a duet with Glennis Grace, but I could see them combining it with another act by making their song (or one of the other musical performances) the music for a Duo Transcend or Zurcaroh routine.

And, of course, there’s no doubt in my mind Garth Brooks’ song contribution will be the one Simon was badgering him to write for Michael Ketterer. Simon did say it would be unfair for Garth to write a song for Michael to perform as part of the actual competition, but now that the votes are all in and tonight’s performances will be purely for exhibition and celebratory purposes, we’ll finally get to hear it.

The only contestant who doesn’t seem to be a match for any of the celebrities on the list is magician Shin Lim, but I could see Akbar or one of the comedians being his “volunteer” for a performance like I recall Paula Abdul doing for The Clairvoyants back in the Season 11 finale.

Be sure to tune in to tonight’s special two-hour America’s Got Talent Season 13 finale at 8/7c on NBC.
