America’s Got Talent will return next week for Season 21, and the show’s judges recently teased what fans can expect from this year’s competition. That includes a few hints about which acts earned the coveted Golden Buzzer.

America’s Got Talent Judges Tease Golden Buzzers

Judge Howie Mandel told TV Insider that the level of talent in Season 21 of AGT is “above and beyond,” adding, “My Golden Buzzer is probably one of my favorite acts in my America’s Got Talent history.”

Speaking of her own Golden Buzzer moment, fellow judge Mel B recalled that she “literally didn’t give any of the other judges a chance to press that buzzer,” adding, “I was in there so fast no one knew what was going on, which really made me laugh.”

Mel B went on to say that the craziest act she saw this season was “a guy who pretended to be three different acts.” Fellow judge Sofia Vergara also teased that “for the first time in America’s Got Talent history, the talent has been so outstanding that we saw back-to-back Golden Buzzers.”

As for host Terry Crews, he praised the “heart” of this year’s acts, saying, “The talent is bigger, yes, but the stories? They’ll stay with you.”
