‘America’s Got Talent’ Golden Buzzer Nightbirde is Working on Her First Album
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Nightbirde, also known as Jane Marczewski, auditioned for America’s Got Talent earlier this year and earned the Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell for her amazing performance. She shared that she was battling cancer, and she unfortunately had to leave the competition for health reasons.
The 30-year-old singer recently spoke to CNN’s Chris Cuomo to update fans about her cancer battle and shared an inspiring message as we prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday. She also talked about working on her first album.
Nightbirde Shares Update on Her Cancer Battle
“I wish we would get a faster miracle,” Nightbirde said at the start of her interview with Cuomo, when asked how she was doing. “But it’s happening slow, little by little, day by day. I’m doing a little better. I did get a scan result back, and a bunch of stuff that was there has now disappeared.”
Nightbirde spoke more about miracles, saying she hasn’t gotten the big ones yet, but adding, “There’s a hundred other miracles. And if I only take the ones that taste sweet, I won’t get any miracles at all. So I’m grateful for what I have.”
The singer also shared that Thanksgiving is “special for the whole family” each year because “I should not be alive right now, based on the usual statistics.” She added that “most people don’t know what a joy it is to wake up in the morning without pain.”

The ‘AGT’ Star Is Working on Her First Album
Nightbirde told Cuomo that she’s “so proud of everything I’m writing right now,” adding, “Pain can be a gift, because it really, really drives you to deep places to dig for gold. Sometimes you gotta dig really, really deep for gold. And that’s what I’ve been doing.”
She shared that her “voice is getting there,” but she’s “just so happy to be singing” even if it’s not at 100 percent. If you want to hear what Nightbirde has already released, you can listen to her singles “It’s OK” (which she performed on AGT), “Girl in a Bubble,” and “New Year’s Eve.”
Cuomo said Nightbirde has “big things happening,” adding, “I know things, and I can’t say things.” We can’t wait to find out more and to hear what the singer has been working on. In the meantime, you can follow Nightbirde’s journey on Instagram.
