‘America’s Got Talent’ Drops Epic Trailer Celebrating 20 Seasons

America’s Got Talent is back THIS MONTH! Fans can officially begin getting excited for the show’s monumental twentieth season. For those who may not know, AGT returns to NBC on Tuesday, May 27 at 8 PM ET.
NBC Releases America’s Got Talent 2025 Trailer
America’s Got Talent is celebrating their twentieth season by giving a nod to some of the show’s biggest winners and most viral Golden Buzzer sensations. The trailer features glimpses of Golden Buzzer sensations, Kodi Lee, Grace VanderWaal, Brandon Leake, Piff The Magic Dragon, Darci Lynne, and more.
“Two minutes could change your life,” Cowell says in the trailer. “We’re still here 20 years later, who knows what’s going to happen next.”
The trailer features an array of new contestants, some doing contortion, some singing, some doing aerial, and even possibly a new drone group.
“We want bigger, better than we’ve ever seen before,” Howie Mandel says in the trailer.
As a surprise in the trailer, fans are able to see Season 1 singer Jessica Sanchez, all grown up. Reacting to her return, Sofia Vergara says “after twenty years, this is a very special moment.”
Finally, the trailer put emphasis on the show’s newest, returning judge Mel B before switching to the coveted Golden Buzzer being pressed. At the time of writing, fans cannot wait to see the acts coming to the stage for AGT’s twentieth season.
Mel B Returns to the Judging Panel
In a surprise change of events, AGT’s judging panel has changed for Season 20. This season, longtime judge Heidi Klum will not be appearing on the show’s judging panel. Instead, in her place, is former judge, Spice Girl, Mel B.
For those who may not know, this is the first time the judging panel has changed since Season 15, when Sofia Vergara joined the panel. Since Mel B’s departure from the main panel in Season 13, she has returned to judge both AGT: The Champions in 2019 and AGT: Fantasy League in 2024.
The Season 20 judging panel will also feature returning judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Sofia Vergara. Terry Crews will be back to host the season. This will be Mel B’s first time judging with Vergara.
