‘American Idol’s Noah Thompson, HunterGirl to Perform Together This Month

American Idol Season 20 winner Noah Thompson announced on Instagram this week that he and runner-up HunterGirl will be performing together later this month in Michigan. The two singers formed a friendship during their time on the show earlier this year.

Noah and HunterGirl will be performing at Meckley’s Flavor Fruit Farms in Cement City, Michigan, as part of the Country Boots & Bands concert series on Friday, August 12. Noah encouraged fans to come and see them perform.
Both singers also recently performed at Whiskey Jam at Winners Bar in Nashville, along with fellow Season 20 contestants Fritz Hager and Allegra Miles, as well as past Idol stars Laci Kaye Booth, Francisco Martin, Grace Leer, and Casey Bishop.
Noah recently released a cover of “Stay” by Rihanna, putting his own country spin on the pop ballad. He earned praise for his performance of the song on American Idol, and he even delivered an encore during the Season 20 finale.

The Singers Have Been Friends Since the Show
Noah may have won the competition, but there are no hard feelings between him and the runner-up. Earlier this year, HunterGirl called Noah “one of my best friends” and shared her hope that they’ll get to record a duet together one day.
“We had our trailers side by side and everything. We kind of talked each other through each day,” Noah recently told Hollywood Life of his friendship with HunterGirl. “We were just there for one another. Me and Hunter are best friends — we’ve been best friends ever since then and we’ll always be there for each other. You kind of need that in doing this. We’re just there for each other like that.”
The two have even sparked dating rumors, especially since fans think Noah might have broken up with his girlfriend Angel Dixon. Noah and HunterGirl have been posting together on social media recently. However, Noah has denied that he and HunterGirl are anything more than friends.
If they need to spend time together and continue there careers let um .there great.
