Hunter Metts has been teasing his newest single “Open,” on social media since the beginning of February. Fans couldn’t wait to hear new music from last seasons fan favorite contestant. Before “Open,” Hunter released three singles right after American Idol.
On February 25, Hunter released his indie single “Open.” The single begins with the strumming of an acoustic guitar. Hunter’s voice is filled with emotion in this new track. His voice travels smoothly throughout the low and high parts of the song. Since this song is slow, there’s a strong emphasis on vocal range. This song is extremely similar to the music Hunter sang on American Idol.
