Francisco Martin Releases New Song ‘Breakfast for Dinner’
“Breakfast for Dinner” comes with a fitting piece of cover art, featuring a painting of a bright yellow egg yolk. In the track’s chorus, Martin sings, “We can see the world, babe / Or we can dance around the kitchen while I’m cooking / Breakfast for dinner / You turned a sinner into a winner / Start of something new.”
The song has a chilled-out, dreamy quality. As the singer explained in a press release, “’Breakfast for Dinner’ expresses my feelings towards my partner in crime. Lifting each other up through everything has always been our endgame.”
This it the third single Martin has released this year, following “Passenger Princess” in February and “Lily” in June. All three tracks have featured a smooth sound that shows off the voice that took Martin to the Top 5 on Idol.

Is the Singer Releasing a New Album?
After hearing so many new songs from Martin in recent months, fans might be wondering if the singer plans to put out his debut album any time soon. He hasn’t made any announcements, although he has shared photos and clips of himself writing and recording music.
Martin has previously released two EPs — Beautiful Ramblings of a Restless Mind in 2021 and Manic in 2022. It’s also worth noting that the singles released by Iam Tongi and Colin Stough on the most recent season of American Idol were written by Martin.
Last month, Martin shared on Instagram that he was two months sober, writing, “And after dealing with lots of medical and emotional trauma these last few weeks, I’m happy to continue to put my art out into the world.”
