McCreery Released Single ‘Cab in a Solo’ This Year
McCreery’s upcoming tour is named after a single he released in August of this year, “Cab in a Solo.” The track follows the deluxe release of McCreery’s 2021 album Same Truck. In the lyrics, the country star sings about realizing his ex-love has moved on.
“I grew up on classic country and 90’s country, and still listen to that music often today,” McCreery said of the song’s inspiration. “I had some songwriter buddies up at my place in the North Carolina mountains, and we started writing this song with that feel in mind.”
McCreery won Season 10 of American Idol in 2011, when he was just 17 years old. He has since released five studio albums (including one Christmas album), and he welcomed a son last year with his wife Gabi.
