On Wednesday, Thompson took to Instagram to share the cover for his upcoming EP. It features a photo of the singer in a yellow flannel shirt, with his name and the title written in bold letters. As he announced in the caption, the EP will be available June 9.
Thompson encouraged his followers to pre-save the project ahead of its release. He also made sure to tell his fans that they “have absolutely changed my life and I can’t thank you enough for it.”
Last month, Thompson teased the EP’s title track, “Middle of God Knows Where.” The singer shared a snippet of the song, in which he could be heard singing, “Am I losing my grip, ’cause I swore you said to me / You’d never leave / How’s a good thing go up in smoke so suddenly? / I’m going crazy.”
One fan in the Instagram comments mentioned another track Thompson has teased, called “She Gets It From Me.” Hopefully that one will be on the new EP as well.
