“I’m gonna show y’all this song that I’ve been dying to show you guys forever,” Thompson tells fans in a new video posted to TikTok and Instagram. “This song is called ‘Middle of God Knows Where.’ I’m not even sure if I’m supposed to be showing it to you guys at all, but I’m going to anyways, ’cause I don’t care.”
Thompson filmed the video in his car. He proceeded to play a snippet of the new track, in which he can be heard singing, “Am I losing my grip, ’cause I swore you said to me / You’d never leave / How’s a good thing go up in smoke so suddenly? / I’m going crazy.”
Thompson only played the beginning part of the song, so fans will have to wait until it’s released to hear more. The singer asked them to let him know what they think of the new track in the comments.
