Tongi Recently Graduated High School
Not long after he was announced as the Season 21 winner of American Idol, Tongi had another reason to celebrate. The 18-year-old graduated high school in Washington earlier this month. During the ceremony, he performed “Don’t Let Go” by Spawnbreezie.
Tongi previously received an honorary degree from Kahuku High School in his hometown in Hawaii. The honor came during his hometown visit as a finalist on Idol. As part of his time on the show, Tongi also released a song called “I’ll Be Seeing You.” The track was written by former Idol star Francisco Martin.
