‘American Idol’ Winner Chayce Beckham Shares New Song, Teases More on the Way

American Idol Season 19 winner Chayce Beckham played a new song for fans on his Instagram account this week. Chayce also took to his Instagram stories to tease yet another new song that he says fans “ain’t ready for.”
In a new Instagram video, Chayce sits in front of an American flag while wearing a T-shirt and a baseball cap. He explains that he wrote this new song a couple of weeks ago with a friend of his named Scooter. Chayce played guitar as he sang.
“If I had a week with nothing to do,” Chayce wrote in the video’s caption. “Wrote this one for my friends and family back home in California and Oklahoma. Miss you guys.”
Chayce moved to Nashville to pursue his music career after winning American Idol, but in his new song he sings about boarding a flight to visit his friends. He describes listening to music, fishing, and taking a break from “the red lights and the concrete.”
The song definitely has a country flavor, and Chayce shows off the gravely voice that won him American Idol. Fans in the comments are asking him to release a studio version.

Chayce Teased Another Emotional Song on the Way
Chayce also took to Instagram stories this week to share a text conversation with his sister Tiffani. In it, he shared a file containing a new song called “How We Get to Heaven.” Chayce told his sister that he wrote the song about their “Papa.”
“Papa told me this on the way to Grandma Grace’s funeral,” he added. Along with the text conversation, he told fans, “TBH y’all ain’t ready for this one.”
Chayce may not think fans are ready, but they obviously want to hear it. Hopefully he’ll share the song soon. In the meantime, fans can listen to “Can’t Do Without Me,” which is Chayce’s duet with Canada’s Got Talent host Lindsay Ell.
