‘American Idol’ Stars Gabby Barrett, Cade Foehner Expecting Third Child Together

American Idol Season 16 finalists Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner had some big news to share on Wednesday, as they announced that they’re expecting their third child together. Barrett is pregnant again after giving birth to a son in October.

On Wednesday, Barrett and Foehner shared a post on Instagram revealing the news that they’re expecting again. In the first photo, the couple can be seen sitting on a stage as Foehner kisses Barrett on the cheek. In the second snap, a box in front of them is revealed to read, “Baby #3.”
The post also includes a clip of Barrett lying in bed showing off her pregnant belly as she uses an ultrasound machine. The singer can be heard whispering something, although it’s not totally clear what she’s saying.
One Instagram commenter thought Barrett might have said, “There she is.” This would seemingly confirm that she and Foehner are expecting their second daughter. However, another commenter thought Barrett said, “Thank you, Jesus.”
Barrett hasn’t shared how far along she is or when the baby is due. The singer has several shows lined up next month. As of right now, it looks like they’re still on.

The Couple Already Has Two Children Together
Barrett and Foehner met while they were competing on American Idol. They tied the knot in October of 2019. In January of 2021, they welcomed their first child — a daughter named Baylah May. Then in October of 2022, they welcomed their son Augustine Boone.
Barrett’s growing family has inspired her music, as she recently released a new song called “Glory Days” in which she gushes about their life. The song’s music video features footage of Barrett, Foehner, and their two kids.
After finishing American Idol Season 16 in third place, Barrett made a splash on the country music scene with her single “I Hope.” She released her debut album Goldmine in 2020, followed by a deluxe edition in 2021.
