‘American Idol’ Star Kenedi Anderson Teases New Music on Instagram

Former American Idol contestant Kenedi Anderson seems to be teasing the release of new music with her fans on Instagram. The singer posted a cryptic video to the platform this week, after wiping her account and starting fresh.
American Idol‘s Kenedi Anderson Teases New Music
Kenedi Anderson was a frontrunner in Season 20 of American Idol after receiving a Platinum Ticket from the judges in her audition. However, the singer chose to leave the competition after the Hawaii portion due to “personal reasons.”
Since then, fans have been waiting for Anderson to release music of her own. Last year, the singer moved to Los Angeles to further her music career. She also shared a snippet of original music with fans on social media.
Anderson has since wiped her Instagram account of past posts, starting fresh on New Year’s Day. She appears to be teasing new music coming soon. On Monday, the singer shared a video of herself talking to the camera in which the audio is covered by static.
“Oh! Sorry…. my lawyer told me I can’t disclose everything I said in this video,” Anderson wrote in the caption. “But maybe you can try reading my lips???”
What Does Anderson Say in Her New Post?
The only part of the new video that is audible is Anderson saying, “And it’s almost here.” However, fans have tried to figure out what she might be saying in the rest of the clip by reading her lips. According to one fan’s interpretation, a new project is coming soon.
“I know I’ve kept you guys waiting for so long, I know I’ve told you this a million times,” Anderson apparently said. “I am super excited to show you guys what is coming and I’m really excited to show you what I’ve been working on for the past two years.”
In addition to the video, Anderson also shared a black and white photo of herself sitting on what looks like a photoshoot set, wearing an oversized sweater and high heels. Hopefully she’ll reveal more soon about whatever she’s releasing.
