Kenedi Anderson is finally ready to drop music of her own. The former American Idol contestant has recently shared a snippet of her original composition, exciting fans for a possible song release.
Kenedi Anderson Drops Snippet of Potential Single
In an Instagram post dated July 19, 2023, Anderson shared a short video of herself belting out a part of her original piece. The musician made the snippet a little dramatic by putting a gradient LED light in her room and letting herself be seen through her silhouette.
“Even if I lose you for good / I’m done beggin’ for change ‘cuz you can’t fix what’s broke / Can’t make you love me if you don’t feel the same / Then we’re already down the drain / So don’t spend your last lie saying she’s not on your mind,” she sings.
In her caption, Anderson hints about a possible new single, saying that she’s no longer a cover girl. The musician has also given an idea about her new creative project through an Instagram post last July 11. Anderson posted a selfie of her in a studio while wearing headphones and facing a microphone.
“It’s finally almost time for me to share my life with you through music. I’ve waited for this my whole life,” she wrote. “Kenicats UNITE.”
Aside from these little teasers though, Anderson hasn’t revealed any specific details about the song. Nonetheless, at a glimpse, it seems that her upcoming single will be an anthem for the heartbroken.
Fans Can’t Wait to Hear Her New Song
Upon learning about Anderson’s teaser, fans have intimated their kind words in the comments. Multiple followers are urging the musician to put her new song out, anticipating that it will rank in the music charts.
