American Idol Season 8 star Adam Lambert just announced new concert dates for this spring, in the midst of a busy year for the singer. Fans in Florida and Georgia will have a chance to see the star live in April and May.
Adam Lambert Announces New Concert Dates
Last month, Lambert was announced as a headliner at SunFest Music Festival in West Palm Beach, Florida. Lambert will be hanging around the Sunshine State for several days around the festival, performing in several different cities before heading to Georgia.
First up is a performance in Key West on April 28. Then Lambert will take the stage at SunFest on April 30 before moving on to Orlando on May 1. He’ll be in Tampa on May 3 and St. Augustine on May 4. Then on May 6, he’ll be performing in Atlanta.
Tickets go on sale March 11 at 7 a.m. EST, with Fan Club Early Access on March 9 at 7 a.m. EST. You can check out Lambert’s website for more information on venues and links to purchase tickets for the upcoming shows.
After these solo shows, Lambert will be headed back out to perform with Queen on the Rhapsody Tour. They’ll be performing around Europe starting at the end of May. More information is available on Lambert’s site.
Lambert is staying extremely busy these days, performing concerts and appearing on television. He just finished up his first season judging Clash of the Cover Bands on E!, and he’s currently appearing on a UK singing show called Starstruck.
On top of all of this, Lambert is also working on a new album. He recently teased the project on the red carpet at the BandLab NME Awards, saying, “I’m working on a concept album.”
“I can’t say much about the concept yet but it’s about a person, it’s a story,” he continued. “A musical of sorts. Or a rock opera, anyway you want to call it.”
