The American Idol judges really want you to audition for Season 20 of the show, as evidenced by the silly video they just put out. It features Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie encouraging fans to try out.

Specifically, the judges are highlighting the fact that you can audition virtually from anywhere. The new video gives us a glimpse into the stars’ homes and everyday life. Perry’s clips are especially funny.

‘American Idol’ Judges Encourage Fans to Audition

The judges talk to fans from various locations, with Bryan sitting in his car, Richie trimming the hedges outside his house, and Perry doing laundry. At one point, Bryan even peeks his head out of the shower, and Richie shoots a basketball.

But the silliest clip by far involves Perry leaning over her kitchen counter and resting her head between slices of bread. Really, did you expect anything less from the goofiest judge? As Richie points out, last season’s winner Chayce Beckham auditioned for the show on his lunch break.

Host Ryan Seacrest also makes a quick appearance in the video, standing by his refrigerator and sharing that fans can start the audition process on the show’s website. Perry reminds fans to “keep it clean,” because you’ll be auditioning for producers.
