‘American Idol’ Fan Favorite Allegra Miles Speaks Out After Elimination

Many fans were sad to see Allegra Miles time on American Idol come to an end ahead of the Top 10. Soon after Allega’s elimination, she took to Instagram to acknowledge that her time on the series is over. This singer made it known that following her elimination lies a new chapter of her career.
On April 25, Allegra shared a lengthy, gratitude-filled message on Instagram. She made the point of thanking her fans for their ongoing support on and off of the competition. Within the statement, she explained that their connection to her original music is the reason she’s an artist. Making people feel less alone through music is the reason she creates music. As for the elimination itself, it’s evident that Allegra is in good spirits.
“While there are multiple factors of reality tv that are out of our control, I am beyond grateful for the incredible human beings i’ve gotten to meet thru this process – we are family now and will always be,” Allegra wrote on Instagram.
She finished the message out by stating that this is the beginning of a new chapter. Allegra promises new music on the horizon for fans of the series. Her wording makes it seem as if she’s prepared to release a slew of music in the near future.
Even though fans were upset to see Allegra eliminated, they shared their love for her on Instagram. They vowed to continually support her throughout this new chapter.
Allegra Miles Was Born For Superstardom
This singer made waves when she auditioned for American Idol with an original song. During her debut the judges gave her the biggest compliment possible. They complimented her on both the original song and artist-like appearance. Allegra became a fan favorite later in the competition, when she began getting more screen time. Many believed that this singer would follow suit as a finalist that was outstanding and didn’t receive screen time in the beginning of the season.
Once she was in the Top 24, she became a fan favorite because of her unique style. Fans considered some of her live performances to be the best in the show. On Monday night she performed a powerful cover of “Ocean Eyes” by Billie Eilish on the piano. While fans thought this was one of the strongest performances, Allegra didn’t get enough votes to stay in the competition.
Even though this isn’t Allegra’s first appearance on a competition show, it was defintely rewarding for the 19 year old singer. Ahead of American Idol, she competed on season 18 of The Voice at 17 years old on Team Nick. She made it to the semifinals before getting eliminated. Just like on American Idol, Allegra was eliminated after her most powerful performance.
Since Allegra gained larger recognition during the American Idol season, fans are hoping she breaks through to mainstream music in her new chapter. It’s tough to comprehend how she hasn’t broken into mainstream music with a voice like hers.
