The American Idolauditions page lists several cities and dates for in-person auditions this summer. The show’s social media also posted the information, which is subject to change.

Remember that you must be between 15 and 28 years old, and a legal United States resident. Also keep in mind that you won’t be performing for the judges in these initial auditions, so don’t get your hopes up about meeting Katy Perry. But after a few rounds, you could be!
American Idol has been confirmed to be returning for Season 3 on ABC (Season 18 overall), although there will reportedly be budget cuts which could affect the judging panel. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens!
