Lauren Alaina Announces Top of the World Tour
“Guys, I’m so excited! We are officially able to announce the Top of the World Tour,” Alaina shared in an Instagram video. “We’re heading out next year on a headlining tour.”
The tour will kick off February 24, 2022, in Silver Spring, Maryland. Alaina will be joined on the tour by country singer Spencer Crandall. “WHAT IS LIFE?!” Crandall wrote on Instagram to announce the news.
“My fans have continued to support me even when we weren’t able to be in the same room together,” Alaina wrote to accompany her announcement video. “I’m on Top Of The World thinking about being back on stage, face to face, with the people who got me here.”
Tickets for the tour go on sale Wednesday, December 8 for members of Alaina’s fan club, and Friday, December 10 for everyone else. You can buy them on Alaina’s website.
Alaina Is Also Releasing a Book This Week
Lauren Alaina has been busy recently, between putting out her album, starring in a Hallmark movie, and appearing on an episode of Secret Celebrity Renovation. The singer is also releasing a book called Getting Good at Being You this week.
Alaina describes it as a “faith-based book” that touches on her family, her eating disorder struggles, and her music career. She said she particularly wrote it for young women to read and take inspiration.
In a video promoting the release, Alaina said writing a book was a very different experience to writing a song, calling it “vulnerable in a completely different way.” The book will be available Tuesday, December 7.
