While on a break from her growing music career, American Idol season 20 runner-up HunterGirl decided to attend one of the judges’ concerts. She shared on an Instagram post how much fun the concert at Resorts World in Las Vegas was.

HunterGirl Reunited With Luke Bryan at One of His Concerts

Luke Bryan is currently in the middle of doing his extended Las Vegas residency before hitting the road for more headlining shows. The season 20 runner-up could not let the chance of meeting Bryan once again pass, so she attended the show at Resorts World.

HunterGirl thanked Bryan for the amazing concert that he put on, and the two posed together in the photo shown in the post. Fans couldn’t help but show love and support for the two country singers in the comments section of the post.

“I love doing these headlining shows in Vegas. Because the intimate room at Resorts World allows me to really connect to the crowd in such a different way,” Bryan said. “Sitting at the piano each night has become one of my favorite moments in the show.”

HunterGirl displayed incredible singing ability first seen on her American Idol audition where Bryan gave her a standing ovation along with the other judges. Bryan spoke highly of HunterGirl that he even compared her to female country star Miranda Lambert.

The Judge Supported The Singer on The Show

Bryan in fact loved her audition performance of “Riot,” by Rascal Flats so much that he became one of her avid supporters throughout the competition. HunterGirl admitted that one of the main things that kept her going until the very end was knowing that Bryan was there to cheer her on along with the other competitors during the show.

“Getting to have Luke there to cheer me on meant everything. I’ve looked up to him since I was a little girl,” HunterGirl said. “There were moments when you are down, worried, or scared. I was really nervous and scared about getting the songs right.”

HunterGirl has continued to release new music since her time on the show ended, including “Red Bird,” “Hometown Out Of Me,” and her EP, “One Day.” She also had the opportunity to grow her fanbase when she embarked on a co-headlining tour with American Idol winner Noah Thompson.
