Amazing Veranica & Her Incredible Friends is one of the acts from America’s Got Talent Season 17 to earn a coveted spot in the live shows. Veranica impressed the judges with her dog act in the auditions, and now she’s returning for a shot at America’s vote.

‘AGT’s Amazing Veranica Comes from a Family of Entertainers

Veranica Tchalabaeva is 12 years old. She’s a third-generation performer and animal trainer who lives on a farm in Oxford, Florida. According to her bio, she’s been traveling the country with her entertainer parents since she was a baby.

Training animals isn’t Veranica’s only skill. She’s also a trick rider on horses and can perform aerial stunts on the trapeze and the wheel of death. In her AGT audition, she shared that she has 27 horses, three camels, three ponies, eight goats, 50 doves, 50 chickens, 15 dogs, and 13 cats.

Veranica’s Instagram account includes videos of her trick riding and performing other stunts. In one clip, she stands on two horses at once as they gallop around the pen. In another clip, she swings on the trapeze. A video from 2020 also shows her learning how to play the piano.

The AGT Judges Loved Amazing Veranica, Her Dogs

Veranica’s act, which was set to “Butter” by BTS, began with her dogs sitting on colorful deck chairs. They went on to perform tricks like jumping rope, dancing, and even riding scooters. The performance ended with one dog performing a quick-change routine.

The judges were charmed by Veranica’s performance, giving her a standing ovation. Howie Mandel called her a “great performer,” saying she “surprised us.” Heidi Klum said the act was “very well done.” Simon Cowell called the dogs “so, so smart.”

Veranica received four “yes” votes to move on, and the judges chose her as one of the 55 acts who will perform in the live shows for America’s vote. You can see her next performance Tuesday night on NBC.
