Amanda Kloots Opens Up About Her Relationship With Alan Bersten

Dancing With The Stars semi-finalist Amanda Kloots has recently opened about her relationship with pro partner Alan Bersten. It may be recalled that during their run in the competition show, fans genuinely believed that the two may be romantically linked.
Amanda Kloots Says Alan Bersten Became a Perfect Male Figure for Her
Ahead of the Holidays, Amanda Kloots sat down to chat with Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast about the different aspects of her life. There, she clarified that she and Bersten have been nothing but great friends, especially during DWTS season 30. According to Kloots, Bersten came at the best time and has served as a much-needed male figure.
“[I] became such a great friend with Alan Bersten, my dance partner,” she said. “And I had no idea just how much I needed just, like, a male friend in my life after not having like a male in my life.”
Kloots further stated that she and Bersten have become the best of friends at the time. Indeed, this dance couple had an undeniable chemistry in the ballroom, so much that fans thought that romance might be brewing between them. Nonetheless, the Live Your Life author cleared up that dating speculations were “few and far between.”
Fans Suspected That They Might Be Faking Their Friendship
Last years, fans sparked rumors regarding the real status of their relationship, assuming that Kloots and Bersten were just pretending to be friends. Such allegation started when DWTS fans saw little to no proof that the two kept in touch after the show ended. Moreover, a few fans believed that Bersten was into Kloots in a romantic way, but the celebrity didn’t feel the same.
“I think he was super into her but I think it was just a show and for votes for her. I agree with mpov she definitely ghosted him,” one person wrote on Reddit.
Despite these unwanted talks, Bersten and Kloots have evidently remained friends. They have posted on their Instagram stories as they were about to workout together. Moreover, Kloots confirmed in the podcast that she still talks to Bersten all the time.
