All the Artists Competing in The ‘American Song Contest’ Finale, Who Are You Voting For?

After seven weeks of the American Song Contest competition, 56 artists have dwindled down to the Top 10. After weeks of both jury and public votes, here is American Song Contest’s first ever set of finalists. These finalists will appear on the grand final on May 9 from 8 to 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
1. AleXa Representing Oklahoma
Kpop artist AleXa repeatedly impressed with her single “Wonderland” during the earlier rounds of the competition. This artist secured her spot in the final episode after banishing lip sync rumors in the semifinal rounds. Ahead of this performance, AleXa’s backtrack was too loud, giving viewers the impression that she was lip syncing.
2. Allen Stone Representing Washington
Grammy-nominated artist Allen Stone was the first artist in the competition to become a two-time jury vote winner. His unique voice paired with his strong lyrics have kept him in the competition for so long.
3. Jordan Smith Representing Kentucky
This The Voice winner has proven himself as a songwriter on this series. He’s repeatedly had strong performances of his song “Sparrow” on the American Song Contest stage.
4. Ni/Co Representing Alabama
This real life couple has shown off their undeniable on stage chemistry in the weeks on the American Song Contest stage. Their pop duet has become one of America’s favorites based on the passionate lyrics.
5. Riker Lynch Representing Colorado
Tropical rock artist Riker Lynch will reprise his single “Feel the Love.” This former R5 member has put on two dance filled performances on the stage.
6. Tyler Braden Representing Tennessee
This country artist has received praise for having some of the most personal lyrics in the competition. His original song “Seventeen” is based on the narrative of first love. He lies with Allen Stone as a two-time jury vote recipient.
7. Tenelle from American Samoa
This artist has repeatedly shown off her uplifting spirit with her song “Full Circle.” Within each performance she’s shown off the song with a great tropical vibe.
8. Chloe Fredericks from North Carolina
This pop singer turned heads with her lyrically strong song “Can’t Make You Love Me.” This North Dakota native has made sure each performances has matched the boldness behind her tune.
9. Michael Bolton from Connecticut
Grammy Award winner Michael Bolton is returning for the final installment of American Song Contest. After proving that he’s still got it in music, his tune “Beautiful World” has earned him a spot in the grand final.
10. Grant Knoche from Texas
This former Kidz Bop star has proven himself as an independent artist in this competition. Not only is his song lyrically great, he’s gained attention for his high energy on stage performances.
These finalists are set to appear on Monday night’s episode of American Song Contest. They will all perform their hit songs once again for one last chance to win America’s heart. Undisclosed celebrity guests will perform and help announce the results alongside hosts Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson.
Voting opens early for the final episode of American Song Contest, instead of only being open during the series, it will open at 5:00 p.m. ET on Sunday and close at 9:35 p.m. ET on Monday. Fans can cast their ballot on NBC’s website, app, or TikTok.
