America’s Got Talent Season 6 winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. has a new gig lined up to host a reality show called Circus Suites. Murphy announced the news on his Instagram account earlier this week.
AGT Winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr.’s New Hosting Gig
Murphy took to Instagram to share an image of a search box featuring the question, “What is Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. doing now?” The singer went on to answer that question by sharing that he’ll be hosting a new reality show called Circus Suites.
According to a press release, Circus Suites will focus on circus performers renovating a historic home for rights to ownership. The concept for the show came from Paul Miller, a former circus clown. The show’s participants will reportedly perform each week.
Miller said Murphy is “the perfect celebrity Ringmaster to host Circus Suites” because of his past experience with homelessness before winning AGT. He described circus performing as “a nomadic life.”
The show will be available to stream in August on Vimeo. Ahead of the premiere, Murphy will be performing alongside the show’s stars at a concert in Ludlow, Kentucky, on July 22. Audience members can vote for their favorite performers.
“I’m excited to be a part of Circus Suites,” Murphy said in a statement. “I know I’m going to see some amazing performances just like when I was on AGT; I can’t wait!”
