Angelica Hale Records Raw “I Dreamed a Dream” Rendition

Former America’s Got Talent stand out Angelica Hale has officially taken the plunge into the world of musical theater. In her most recent Instagram post, the singer admitted that she’s been into singing operatic songs lately. Hale, who’s known to be generous to fans when it comes to covers, just had to share one.

“Recently, i’ve been listening to a lot of broadway and disney songs, and one of my favorites is Lea Salonga’s version of ‘I Dreamed a Dream.’ I wanted to sing a little bit for you guys!” she wrote.

Wearing a white tank top, and with little to no makeup, Hale powerfully belted out the song. The singer was obviously passionate while singing the piece, manifested in her emotions in the video. Fans are impressed with this strong rendition. So much that they fled to the comment section to praise the young songstress.

“Absolutely beautiful. And acapella in a hotel room on a cell phone. Want to hear this on a stage with a full orchestra backing you up,” one fan wrote.

“Angelica your voice makes my soul explode with so much emotion,” another fan wrote.

Fans hope to see a full version of this cover posted to YouTube in the near future. Back in September, Hale recorded “Let The Light In” by Lana Del Rey. While recording this video, Hale explained her obsession with the single. Even though she was sick at the time, she still recorded a cover of it.
