America’s Got Talent Season 11 star Sofie Dossi is best known for her contortion skills, but she recently tried out a new talent with the help of UFC champion Cris Cyborg. In a new video for her YouTube channel, Dossi trained to fight her friend.
Sofie Dossi Trains with UFC Champion Cris Cyborg
Dossi’s new video starts with her and her friend Ava watching a UFC fight and arguing about which one of them would win in a fight of their own. Dossi argued that she does more upper body work, but Ava responded that leg strength is important in fighting.
This argument led to Dossi enlisting UFC champion Cris Cyborg to train the two of them in fighting techniques. The friends set up a bet of $100 before going in. They had two hours to train with Cyborg before their fight.
Cyborg taught them several fighting techniques, including one move called the guillotine. The friends went through three rounds, and they were exhausted by the end of it. Cyborg ended up calling the match a draw.
The two of them vowed to do a rematch. Dossi asked her fans to comment with who they think will win the next fight.
In 2016, Dossi appeared on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent, where she showed off her amazing contortion skills. She even earned the Golden Buzzer from guest judge Reba McEntire during the Judge Cuts round.
Dossi made it to the Finals, and she later returned to compete on AGT: The Champions in 2019. She’s also become a huge success on YouTube, where her channel currently has 8.84 million subscribers. Dossi also has 12 million followers on TikTok.
The 21-year-old has also ventured into the world of music, as she released the singles “FIRE ALARM” and “BUNNY” last year.
