‘AGT’ Singer Lee Collinson is a Rising Star in The Music Industry

Here’s a closer look at America’s Got Talent Season 17 contestant singer Lee Collinson’s road to fame. From trying out his singing at a local show in Britain, to becoming a solid contender on AGT, Lee is a fast-rising star of the show.
Who Was Lee Collinson Before America’s Got Talent?
Before auditioning and making it to AGT, Lee appeared in the show Little Mix The Search in the United Kingdom. The show which aired from September 2020 to November 2020, aired on the BBC One television Network.
The show featured talented singers pairing up together as a group and performing on stage. Unfortunately for Lee, his group called New Priority was eliminated during the semi-finals round. Shortly after his stint with the show, Lee released his music video for the song ‘I Know’ in December 2021.
Showing great passion and interest in music, Lee regularly posts his song covers on his steadily growing Instagram account. It was there that he announced his appearance on AGT Season 17 to his 32,500 Instagram followers.
The Performance That Wowed the Judges
Lee revealed that he flew to Los Angeles in a daring bid to become a renowned singer. Singing “Better Days” impressed everyone, earning him 4 yeses from the judges and a standing ovation from the crowd. Having been motivated from accomplishing his last performance, Lee took to Instagram to express the excitement of advancing to the semi-finals. Becoming 1 of the 55 acts performing at the live shows, he expressed his excitement in an Instagram post.
He wrote “We have a feeling this is the beginning of an amazing journey for Lee Collinson,” quoting Simon Cowell.
He is now one step closer to winning the $1 million cash prize, and the opportunity to headline a show in Las Vegas. Hopeful to win big at the show, Lee will surely deliver a performance that tops his previous one. His next performance is still to come up on this week’s episode where he will display his singing to the fullest.
Lee’s next step to the stage left his fans something to look forward to. His most recent social media post encourages his followers to tune in to the next episode. Whatever outcome his next performance will bring, Lee has already established himself as a well-rounded vocalist. Making it to AGT has already given his singing career a boost in fame, he is seriously working on becoming a huge star.
