‘AGT’ Alum Tory Vagasy Shines in ‘SIX Block Tango’ Musical Mashup

America’s Got Talent alum Tory Vagasy has recently taken part in a musical mashup titled “SIX Block Tango.” Through this fan-made project, Vagasy was definitely able to showcase her enticing vocals and superb acting skills.
Tory Vagasy Impresses in Unique Rendition of Chicago’s “Cell Block Tango”
In an attempt to reimagine the Chicago’s iconic song “Cell Block Tango,” YouTube content creator Pixel Playhouse enlisted six female singers to make it happen. Interestingly enough, this newest rendition was incorporated with a brilliant twist. Pixel integrated the SIX queens of Henry VIII as the main concept of the performance, thus a classic yet modern retelling of the story. Thus, the title “SIX Block Tango.”
Tory Vagasy acts as Katherine Howard, one of the king’s six wives. In a nearly five-minute video, Vagasy took every chance to show off her broadway talent prowess. Yet, while she indeed shone in the mashup, she also successfully complemented the vibe and vocals of the other five singers.
On Instagram, Vagasy promoted this passionate project, writing that creating a musical mashup made “so much sense.” Subsequently, she invited her followers to interact with the content.
“The SIX Block Tango is up NOW! Check it out, help us for the word! Leave a comment, share it, tag me in your stories I’ll be reposting them!” she wrote. “Let me know what you think!”
At the moment, “SIX Block Tango” has reached over 27,000 views on YouTube. Meanwhile, Vagasy’s supporters are evidently happy about this treat, calling the same as “awesome.”
She is Set to Be a Guest at Broadway Rave’s NYC Show
Aside from the “SIX Block Tango” project, Vagasy is actively chasing her career in music by appearing in a number of live shows. Just recently, the broadway singer announced on Instagram that she will be guesting at the Broadway Rave on February 24.
“I can’t recommend this event enough, it’s SUCH a blast and celebration of the shows we love with the most fun theatre kids around!” she wrote.
Vagasy will be owning one full set at Broadway Rave on Friday, February 24. Fans are thrilled to see which songs she’s prepared to perform at the event.
