The Sun reports that Adele recently revealed the incident with fans, sharing that she collapsed due to a flare-up of sciatica, which refers to pain along the sciatic nerve. This nerve travels from the lower back down the legs.
Adele also recently took time away from the stage during a show, explaining, “I am going to sit down and rest my sciatica.” According to The Sun, the singer shared, “Early on this year I started bragging about my sciatica, I wasn’t feeling it any more. Then God brought it back.”
Yahoo points out that Adele has opened up about her back pain in the past, telling The Face in 2021 that she’s dealt with it for “half of my life.” She added, “It flares up, normally due to stress or from a stupid bit of posture.”
The singer also shared that exercising helped with the pain, explaining, “Where I got my tummy strong, down at the bottom, which I never had before, my back don’t play up as much.”

The Residency Runs Into November
Earlier this month, Adele returned to the stage at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to continue her “Weekends with Adele” residency after taking a month off. There are dates lined up into November, with the current end date scheduled for November 4.
This date will mark almost one year since the residency began in November 2022. The singer announced 34 additional shows in March of this year. The residency was originally scheduled to kick off in early 2022, but it had to be delayed.
Adele has also announced a concert film with footage of the residency, “to make sure that anyone who wants to see this show can see it.” It’s not clear yet when fans can expect to see the film.
