Adele Postpones Las Vegas Residency
“Listen, I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,” Adele said in an emotional video posted to Twitter and Instagram Thursday. “We’ve tried absolutely everything that we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you. But we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID.”
The singer shared that half of her team is out with COVID. She said “it’s been impossible to finish the show,” adding that she “can’t give you what I have right now.” She started tearing up as she said she was “gutted” to have to reschedule.
“I’m sorry it’s so last-minute,” she said. “We’ve been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out, and we’ve run out of time. I’m so upset, and I’m really embarrassed, and I’m so sorry to everyone that’s traveled here.”

The Residency Dates Are Being Rescheduled
“All dates will be rescheduled,” Adele wrote to accompany her announcement, along with a broken heart emoji. “More info coming soon.”
In the video, the singer said she and her team were “on it right now” to reschedule the dates. She promised fans that she would get her show “to where it’s supposed to be.” She once again apologized for the decision to postpone, emphasizing that she’s “been up against so much.”
Adele recently put out her first new album in six years, titled 30. Her Las Vegas residency was set to kick off at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on January 21. New dates have yet to be announced.
