Original The Voice Coach Adam Levine Returns to The Series in 2025
Adam Levine is officially returning to The Voice in Spring 2025. The Maroon 5 singer announced his return to the series via Instagram on June 5, 2024.
“The OG is back in the building! I’M COMING BACK to #TheVoice next Spring 2025 🎤🎸✌️
Can’t wait! V27 @nbcthevoice #TeamAdam,” he wrote on Instagram.
Previously, Levine appeared on the talent competition show as a coach from 2011 to 2019. During his time in the big red chair, he won three seasons with Javier Colon (season 1), Tessanne Chin (season 5) and Jordan Smith (season 9).
Ultimately, Levine was known for his rifts with fellow former coach Blake Shelton. The two had a huge bromance on the series, that fans absolutely ate up. Although Levine hadn’t been on the show for quite sometime, he appeared in Shelton’s final The Voice episode in 2023.
Fans Cannot Wait for Levine’s Return
Although this announcement is fresh while writing, fans have already begun to flood Levine’s comment section. It’s a clear consensus, people cannot wait for Levine to return to the series. This move makes total sense for the series, since ratings had been lower since Shelton’s exit of the series. Levine’s return will definitely aid in fans return to the series.
Levine will return to the series for Season 27, airing in Spring 2025. As for the upcoming season, The Voice season 26 is set to feature Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg as coaches. In addition to Levine’s announcement, The Voice confirmed their season 27 coaches, Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé, John Legend, and Adam Leveine.
