Kylie Minogue Joins Team Tom Jones On ‘The Voice UK’

We told you yesterday that Will.i.Am was bringing on his old Black Eyed Peas buddies apl.de.ap and Taboo to help him mentor his team on The Voice UK. Olly Murs is bringing on Craig David to help out his group of young hopefuls. There were rumors that Kylie Minogue was in the running to also join the show and now she is. Kylie will join music legend Tom Jones as his team’s mentor.
This is a powerhouse of British entertainment working together. You know your mom or grandmother loved them some Tom Jones back in the day. He was THE sex symbol back in the day. I’ve been in love with Kylie Minogue since back in the late 80’s when she did a cover of Locomotion. These two together might just make the difference and get a win for Tom. He has to contend with Jennifer, the returning champ, and the other two amazing judges. Kylie said of working with Team Tom,
“I love working with Sir Tom and have been blown away by the talent in his team this series. What a pleasure to work with such a great group of contestants and it’s fair to say I’ll be keenly following the rest of the series. Good luck Team Tom!”
We still don’t know who Jennifer is going to bring on to mentor. It would be great if it were her Dreamgirls cast mate Beyonce. It won’t be Beyonce. Not in a million years. Maybe she can get the rest of Destiny’s Child like she did for the American version of The Voice?
